Sales Engineer, Tier 1 Service Providers GCC Countries. Dubai based

Job Description

I am currently searching for a Sales Engineer for my client, who is a leader in security and network monitoring solutions.

This is a very 'hands-on' position and will suit someone who likes to take responsibility, able to present the value proposition well to service provider customers and provide sales support with strong technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
-Manage the technical sale of service assurance solutions for IP Networks
-Manage the RFx processes
-Responsible for providing support to the sales team in winning business supporting post sales
-Provide technical support in sales presentations
-Manage and develop Field Trials/Proof of Concepts/Evaluations
-Provide informal product training to clients and team
-Identify business/technical problems and offer attractive solutions to the client

Key Requirements:
-Proven solutions sales support across the service provider sector, dealing with tier 1 accounts in UAE and other GCC countries.
-Ability to communicate complex data/information and provide timely, cost effective, quality solutions to customers
-Minimum of 10 years engineering experience in telecoms and 3 years in a sales engineer role, providing support to the sales team
-Ideally a degree in Computer Science or similar
-Fluent in English. Arabic would be good to have, but not essential.

The position is based in my client’s Dubai office, with extensive travel across the region.
