I am currently searching for a Regional Sales Manager, to manage and develop tier 1 operators across the DACH region for my client whose turnover is well in excess of $1 billion. They are a leading company in access/carrier Ethernet solutions and are active in the SDN/NFV space, so you could be a good fit for this position.
The focus is on direct sales engagement and business development with key carrier accounts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and would suit someone who is comfortable developing existing accounts as well as winning new ones.
We are therefore looking for someone with a proven track record of sales success with some of the tier 1 operators in the region like Telefonica, DT, Vodafone, Telecom Austria, Swisscom and Sunrise.
You will develop the account plans and the regional sales strategy, prioritise targets and to deliver success, so it is important that you are a self-starter, with high energy and motivation, able to balance strategic planning with immediate business requirements
You should be fluent in German, with a good level of English and be based in Germany. My client has an office in Munich, but location is flexible, working from home.
The ideal candidate will have around 5 years sales experience, selling to tier 1 operators and you should be able to travel extensively across the DACH region as and when the business requires it.
